Terpensol-150 consists mainly of Alpha – pinene.
Terpensol-160
Terpensol-160 is a wide fraction of terpene hydrocarbons (composes mainly of ∆3 carene and dipentene). Clear colorless to light-yellow liquid free from mechanical impurities, with specific odor.
Application: Terpensol-160 may be used as a thinner for paints and coatings, degreasing solvent. Dipentene is raw material for menthol synthesis and terpene resins. Terpensol -150 is raw material in the syntheses of Flavors&Fragrances precursors – isobornyl acetate, terpineol, and in the production of terpene resins, camphor.
